Are you looking for a wedding venue that combines antebellum charm with modern luxuries? You are not alone. A wedding at Hamilton Place includes the exclusive use of the restored historic home, built in 1852, and the new state-of-the-art facility.
Both buildings are surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens, courtyards, and a spacious terrace. The expansive ceremonial lawn and pristine lake are framed with giant live oaks, providing a magical setting for the perfect Southern wedding. The 26-acre venue allows multiple options for both the ceremony and reception and is a canvas waiting to be customized for your special day.
Built in 1852, Hamilton House embodies all the antebellum charm you can dream of. The magnificent home provides beautiful spaces and vignettes for photography and videography, including a large natural light sunroom, several majestic fireplaces, an impressive 12-foot-wide hallway and foyer, and a stately front porch and stairwell. The house also has two quaint antique suites that sleep up to six guests and ample space for dressing areas, hair and makeup stations for the bridal party, plus living spaces for entertaining family and friends.
Designed with brides (and grooms) in mind, Hamilton Place features a grand ballroom and banquet facility with large open spaces and exposed beams and furnishing that mirror the sophistication and Southern style of the historic home. The banquet hall boasts its grand atmosphere with 20-foot vaulted ceilings, two 7-foot, round chandeliers and a gracious 3,500 square feet of space. The glassed front porch expands across the front of the building and adds an additional 800 square feet.
